Tasco scopes on my rifles.

Here's a pic of two of my rifles sporting Tasco 6-24x40mm Adjustable Objective scopes. I have owned these two scopes for over eight years without any troubles. One has always resided on the Winchester Model 70, Pre-64 action with BOSS in .25-06. The other started out on top of a Savage 110 in .223, then went to a Ruger 10/22 with a bull barrel and currently resides atop a Marlin Model 780 bolt actio .22lr. With the adjustable objectives these scopes can handle the differences in shooting distances generated by the .22 and .25-06. They hold their zero without problems and the lenses are clear enough for all of my shooting needs. Now would I like a better scope on my .25-06? Sure! But I haven't seen the need to spend 2-10 times the money for a scope when the Tasco is performing perfectly for me. The Tasco is a bit of an overkill for the Marlin, but then again, I have a $150 Burris on one of my 10/22's too! ;)
