Here's two of my many rimfires. These are considered to be a 'Survival Pair' in my book. The first is a Ruger 10/22 with a Ramline synthetic stock and Burris 4x Compact scope. The second is a Ruger 22/45 semiautomatic handgun. Both are excellent shooters and can quickly put ten rounds downrange accurately. I also have a couple of Butler Creek 25 round magazines for the 10/22 which adds to the rate of fire. The 22/45 is the best fitting, most accurate .22 handgun I've ever owned. My first kill with it was a squirrel at 40 yards using open sights! I believe in extra magazines for magazine fed weapons as you can see in the pic. The Ruger has 5 factory mags here and two BC 25 rounders. The 22/45 has 5 factory 10 round magazines. I've since added more magazines to my 'grab' cases. I have several 10/22's so I like to have more than enough on hand for all of them. I will post more pics of other 10/22's in different configurations as I get pics scanned and downloaded.
